As a reminder, the Parent Patio is closed for the rest of the year. This includes outside food being delivered to school. If your child forgets their lunch, you may drop off their lunch box with food from home or they may purchase a school lunch.
We have our dates for our last FAST testing. Our ELA FAST PM3 will be on May 5th and our Math FAST PM3 will be on May 12th. Please try to avoid making appointments on those days so students do not need to complete make-up testing with people they are not familiar with.
Our last iReady Diagnostic will be on May 14th.
Our Cereal 4 Summer kindness campaign has started. This will be our 5th year of spreading kindness to one of our community schools. This year we will be sending cereal to Poinciana Elementary. Our goal is 2,000 boxes of kid friendly cereal. Please look for those BOGO deals at Publix 😃
We have started to complete two minute timed multiplication tests of forty fact problems. Students are expected to pass with 36/40 correct, or with 90% accuracy in two minutes. If you haven't already, please begin to practice multiplication facts at home. Students in 3rd grade are expected to be fluent in multiplication by the end of 3rd grade.
Cellphones and devices should be "Off and Away All Day" this year. Smartwatches can still be worn as long as students are not texting on them or using them for anything other than a watch.
If you have a dismissal change during the day, please contact the front office at 377-7400 prior to 2:15. No dismissal changes will be made after this time.
If you are interested in becoming an LOE volunteer, you must complete the online volunteer application. The form must be completed to volunteer for field trips, classroom parties and celebrations, or to help in any capacity on school property. This is a process that needs to be completed each year.
